If you are weighing a resale in Artavia against a builder spec home, the fall calendar is one of the best arguments for the established community: a forest of seasonal events sits a short drive from 15500 Leopard Lily Ln, and several of them happen right inside the neighborhood. Here is the fall 2026 roundup, the festivals, markets, and community nights worth circling from late September through November, with dates, venues, and what to expect.

Artavia's own calendar: what happens inside the community

The community's lifestyle team runs a steady rhythm of events, most of them free and most of them walkable from the listing. The monthly beats repeat all year, and fall adds two signature rounds that residents plan around:

  • First Friday Flamingle. A monthly neighbor social at the Dapple Gray amenity center, held the first Friday of each month.
  • Food-truck nights and family game nights. These land in the third week of the month alongside fitness classes, so there is usually something on most weeks. This month, for example, the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck visited the Artavia HOA at 17590 Artavia Pkwy on Thursday, September 17.
  • Haunted Trails. The community's Halloween event threads costumed scenes and lights through the wooded trails, usually opening in late October. A favorite way to spend a fall evening without leaving Artavia.
  • Artavia Autumn Artisan Market. Saturday, November 7, 2026, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., a free outdoor market hosted right in the community. Local makers, seasonal goods, and a reason to walk the streets on a cool morning.
  • Enchanted Village. In December, the amenity center and surrounding streets light up for the holiday season, closing out the community's year.

Because the exact weekly schedule lives in the community's resident app, the simplest way to keep up is to check the lifestyle pages on Artavia's official site as a date gets close. This is the same rhythm covered in the wider resident's guide to the community.

September: what has passed and what is still coming

Two September date blocks have already come and gone: the Taste of Downtown Conroe tasting evening and the High Caliber Gun Show weekend. The rest of the season is still ahead within a short drive of the neighborhood:

  • Taste of Downtown Conroe. The annual four-and-a-half-hour tasting evening, downtown Conroe, ran Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 4:30 to 9 p.m. (has passed) It repeats annually, and the this-week guide tracked it live for this year's run.
  • High Caliber Gun Show. September 26-27, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center in Conroe. (has passed)
  • The first fall weekend. For the day-by-day plan for September 26-27, including the B-52 Oktoberfest, Shakespeare in the Park, and P-6 Farms' opening weekend, see the fall weekend guide, kept up as an archive since those dates have passed.

For the earlier-weekend rounds, including the HERP Show and the pavilion concerts, the September 2026 lineup is covered in the companion post things to do in Conroe this September.

October: festivals, pumpkin patches, and a corned-beef-and-music weekend

October is the busiest month of the fall, and nearly all of it pulls from the same hometown venues:

  • Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival. Friday through Sunday, October 9-11, 2026, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. The big outdoor food-and-music event of the season, with live acts including Casey Donahew on Saturday, October 10. Friday runs 6 p.m. to midnight; Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. (has passed)
  • Grand Central Park Artisan Market. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the neighboring Conroe community just west of Artavia off the I-45 corridor. (has passed)
  • Montgomery Fall Festival. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Guitars and Classic Cars Ranch in Montgomery, headlined by Randall King. A one-day outdoor festival a short drive west. (has passed)
  • P-6 Farms Fall Festival. Weekends from September 26 through November 8, 2026, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 9963 Pooles Rd in Montgomery. Pumpkin patch, corn maze, pig races, and flower fields by day, with the farm's 2026 weekend lineup (Butterfly Release Weekend, October 10-11, and Dueling Pianos, October 16-17) posted on the farm's site.
  • Lobsterfest. October 1-2, 2026, at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center in Conroe. (has passed)
  • Trick-or-Treat Downtown Montgomery. Saturday, October 24, 2026, 3 to 6 p.m., a family-friendly Halloween walk through downtown Montgomery.
  • Twisted Bones Haunted House. Thursday through Saturday nights in October (5 to 10 p.m.) plus Halloween night at Twisted Parrot Luxury RV Resort, 15075 Walden Rd, Montgomery, on Lake Conroe, with a seasonal price structure posted by the venue. The dedicated Halloween 2026 guide runs through the full pumpkin-patch, trunk-or-treat, and haunted-house lineup.
  • Fall Fest Community Family Fair. Saturday, October 31, 2026, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Magnolia Event Center, put on by the Southwest Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.

For the day-by-day plan across the opening stretch of October, including Lobsterfest, Conroe First Friday, the 19th annual Duck Race, and the St. Ignatius fall festival, see the this-week edition for September 28-October 4, and for the Cajun Catfish Festival weekend and the Renaissance Festival opener, the October 5-11 edition, kept up as an archive since those dates have passed. The newest this-week edition for October 12-18 plans the week ahead, and the rest-of-October plan keeps the whole month in view.

November: markets, car shows, and the holiday kickoff

Once the festival circuit winds down, November turns quieter, but it is not empty: the Artavia Autumn Artisan Market on Saturday, November 7, 2026, lands right in the neighborhood, and the same weekend pulls the Grand Central Park November Market and the final P-6 Farms days. The Montgomery County Nutcracker Market opens November 13-14, with Cars in the Park and the Lakeside Live concert alongside it. The full, date-by-date November plan is in the new November 2026 events guide; this section keeps the season's one signature community date in view. The market registration lives on the organizer's booking page, BigTop, so confirm details with the community before the date.

Why the calendar matters when you buy in Artavia

New build communities talk about their future amenity plan. An established neighborhood like Artavia is already hosting the events: its residents are the ones cooking the gumbo, staffing the markets, and lighting the Halloween trail. On a move-in-ready resale like 15500 Leopard Lily Ln, that lifestyle is live on day one. The 15,540 sq ft cul-de-sac lot and the covered patio give you the room to host your share of it, and a tankless water heater means zero waiting on a builder's schedule before you settle in.

Browse the photo gallery to see the house and its backyard, or read the full neighborhood page for schools, commutes, and more local context. For the 2026 school picture and real drive times, see the schools and commutes guide. To see the house and the community calendar on the same trip, book a tour with Diane.

Event names, dates, and venues were confirmed against organizer and venue listings as of September 10, 2026, including artaviatx.com, the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center, Grand Central Park, the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, P-6 Farms, and the City of Montgomery. This roundup was updated September 29, 2026 to mark dates that have since passed and to reflect the confirmed Texas Renaissance Festival 2026 season, and again October 12, 2026 to mark the Cajun Catfish Festival as passed and to point to the newest this-week edition, and yet again October 20, 2026 to expand the November section and point to the new November 2026 events guide. Hours, tickets, and lineups change; confirm directly with each organizer before you go.
